A brick three-bedroom house close to the beach for less than $700,000? In Melbourne?
Well, yes. Welcome to Frankston North, where the median house price is $675,000 – a 13.4 per cent climb in the past year, and a 45.2 per cent rise in the five years since December 2020.
The five-year price growth is one of the steepest gains in Greater Melbourne, according to the Domain House Price Report for December 2025.
Frankston North is a suburb in demand, with stock running so low that some interstate investors are signing contracts without seeing the properties.
